Dr. Goldstein is a Clinical Professor at NYU School of Medicine, Director of the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Spine Service and Director of the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Spine Fellowship. His latest research, is completed on lumbar and cervical disc replacements, and made him one of the first to perform disc replacement surgery in the neck and lower back.
Dr Goldstein is also a pioneer and leader in the area of minimally invasive surgical techniques and spinal fusion as well. He lectures and instructs several surgeons on cutting-edge technologies.
Dr. Goldstein is a member of many professional societies including the International Society for Study of the Lumbar Spine, the North American Spine Society, the Cervical Spine Research Society, the Lumbar Spine Research Society, the Scoliosis Research Society, and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery where he received the Leon L. Wiltse 'Best Paper' award. He received New York Magazine and Super doctors honors as one of Metro New York's Top Doctors and regularly appeared as a consulting spine expert for ABC, CBC, FOX and other media. Dr Goldstein speaks 13 languages what allows him understand easily foreign patients.
