Dr. Cassian Yee is a board certified oncologist in Houston, Texas with 26 years of experience in his field. He has special expertise in Bone Marrow Transplantation, Cancer and Melanoma. He is also well known for his T cell therapy for the treatment of cancer patients. Beyond treating his patients, he spends his time researching Immunotherapy, T cells, Tumor Immunity and Lymphocyte biology.
Dr. Yee received his medical degree from the University of Manitoba, and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Stanford University Medical Center.
Dr. Yee is currently Director of the Solid Tumor Cell Therapy Program at MD Anderson Cancer Center and a teacher at the Melanoma Medical Oncology and Immunology departments. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Association of Cancer Research and the National Institute of health. Additionally, Dr. Yee has been awarded with the Cancer Research Institute Investigator Award and the Damon Runyon Walter Winchell Clinical Investigator Award.
