His goal is for patients to avoid surgery but also regain complete mobility. Though his approach is conservative, he has an in depth understanding of surgical procedures and signs that would indicate the need for surgery.
Dr. Fibel attended the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and continued on to a residency at the University of California, San Diego. He then went on to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and is also the Assistant Attending Physician at New-York Presbyterian Hospital. 'Dr. Fibel has served as an assistant physician for the New York Giants, New York Mets, St. John's Athletics, as well as several local high school football teams.
Having played collegiate hockey, as well as baseball and soccer, Dr. Fibel has an unique perspective for patients of his.
