Dr. Lawrence Phillips is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He practices in New York City at New York University's Langone Medical Center and specializes in the treatment of acute coronary syndrome, angina, coronary artery disease, fainting (syncope), heart block, heart failure, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and myocarditis. Dr. Phillips is trilingual and as such has the ability to treat non-english speaking patients. The three languages he speaks are russian, spanish, and english.
Dr. Phillips completed his medical studies at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He then went on to complete a residency at the North shore University Hospital. Following his residency, Dr. Phillips attended a fellowship at the North Shore University Hospital.
Dr. Phillips currently holds three positions within NYU. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, the Medical Director for Outpatient Clinical Cardiology, and the Director of the Nuclear Cardiology Laboratory.
