Dr. Herbert Insel is a board certified cardiologist in New York City. He received his certification in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. His 32 years of experience make him an expert in preventative cardiology and a leader in cardiovascular disease treatments. Specific conditions that he treats are Cardiac Arrhythmias, Heart Valve Diseases, Peripheral Vascular Diseases and Hypertension.
Dr. Insel attended Medical School at the State University of New York Downstate. He attended Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center to do his residency training and Internal Medicine, and completed his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at Lenox Hill Hospital.
