Dr. Glenn L. Schattman is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist in New York, New York with over two decades of experience. He specializes in fertility preservation, such as egg or embryo freezing, and assisted reproductive technologies. He uses a range of procedures to treat infertility including Robotic Surgery, In Vitro Fertilization and Hysteroscopic Procedures. Dr. Schattman believes in providing fertility preservation for women facing a wide range of circumstances, especially women who are dealing with cancer who might otherwise have difficulty getting pregnant after cancer treatment.
Dr. Schattman attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at George Washington University and completed his Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Schattman was one of the very first surgeons in the United States to execute robotic surgery to reverse the excision of uterine fibroids and tubal ligation. Additionally, he is both a Physician and award winning Associate Professor within the Center for Reproductive Medicine department at Weill Cornell.
