Dr. Donald Roberts is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, who works with disorders of the knee. Dr. Roberts is developing minimally invasive surgical procedures with robotic assistance in partial knee resurfacing. Dr. Roberts received his bachelor degree at Stanford University and completed his medical degree at Stanford University as well. Following the completion of his medical degree, Dr. Roberts accepted an orthopedic residency at Harvard Combined Orthopedic Program. Dr. Roberts was accepted into fellowship at Harvard University for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Roberts was an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Stanford University. He passionately led his students into the depths of the anatomy of the knee and taught his residents and medical students the most up to date medical practices. Dr. Roberts has utilized modern advancements in robotic assistance in surgical procedures to create a modern approach to surgery.
Dr. Roberts has been the Team Physician and Orthopedic Surgeon for the Portland Trailblazers since 1994. He also has experience serving as the Team Physician for gold medal winning Men's and Women's United States of America Basketball Teams at the 2012 London Olympics.
