
Dr. Steven Lee is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, and ankle practicing in New York, NY. Dr. Lee is pioneering research and development at the first hospital-based facility dedicated to the study of sports medicine, the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma, where he serves as the Associate Director. He is also the Chief of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Lee supplemented a traditional undergraduate degree and medical degree for a highly competitive 6-year accelerator college/medical school program at Lehigh University before completing an orthopedic residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. Post residency, Dr. Lee was accepted into a highly selective fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Lee has extensive experience as an orthopedic surgeon. He has served as the team physician for professional indoor football teams and has been a orthopedic consultant for the PGA tour. Dr. Lee has also worked with the New York Jets, Islanders, and Rangers as an orthopedic consultant. Dr. Lee uses his wealth of experience and expertise to create a truly unique approach to surgery.
