Carolina Panthers team physician, Dr. Robert B. Anderson, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon that specializes in foot and ankle injuries.
Named a 2014 Top Doctor by the Charlotte Business Journal, Dr. Anderson has served as a consultant for many professional sports teams and has treated numerous professional athletes, including, Ahmad Bradshaw, Derek Jeter, Hakeem Nicks, Plaxico Burress, Jeremy Shockey and Chipper Jones.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Mississippi, Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Both his internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency were performed at the Carolinas Medical Center. Then, for his Fellowship that focused specifically on foot and ankle-related treatment, Dr. Anderson trained at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Anderson is the founding member of the Foot & Ankle Institute at OrthoCarolina.
