Dr. Douglas N. Brown is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist in Boston, Massachusetts. He is well known for his minimally invasive and robotic surgery techniques to treat conditions including fibroids, abnormal bleeding, pelvic organ prolapse and relaxation and gynecologic cancers.
Dr. Brown is a medical school graduate from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He received his Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Brooke Army Medical Center and completed his fellowship training in Minimally Invasive, Laparoscopic & Robotic Gynecologic Surgery at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center. He is currently the Chief and Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Additionally, Dr. Brown served for 11 years in the United States Army and spent 9 months in Afghanistan earning him several Army Commendation Medals and Medals for Outstanding surgical support for the Armed Forces. He has also been recognized by receiving the On-Time Doctor Award and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2014.
