Dr. Russo completed his medical studies at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA in 2009. Upon completion of his medical training at Louisiana State University, Dr. Russo continued on to a residency at Louisiana State University Charity Hospital in 2010. He then went on to a fellowship at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Not only has Dr. Russo completed studies at a renowned medical school and completed a competitive residency and fellowship, he has also won many scholastic awards. He was awarded the Resident Paper of the Year award through the Louisiana Orthopedic Association in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Dr. Russo was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 2008.
