Dr. Michael K. Rosner is a board certified and fellowship-trained Neurosurgeon in Washington D.C. with 17 years of experience in his field. He is an expert when it comes to complex spine disorders, degenerative spinal pathology, revision spine surgery, deformity correction, and neuro-trauma. Other conditions and treatments that he works with are disk replacement, osteoarthritis of the spine and stroke.
Dr. Rosner attended the Medical College of Wisconsin, trained in Neurological Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and completed his fellowship in complex and reconstructive spine surgery at Northwestern University. While on staff at Walter Reed, Dr. Rosner was deployed and served in Landstuhl, Germany and Baghdad, Iraq. He went on to become the Chief of Neurosurgery and won the General Hayes Award for being the most Outstanding Attending Surgeon, and has received grants for his work surrounding spinal cord and column injuries. Additionally, he currently serves as Vice Chairman to the Department of Neurosurgery at George Washington University Hospital.
