Dr. Lynn Marie Westphal is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist specializing in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology with 25 years of experience. She is an expert when it comes to IVF, Infertility, Menopause and Oocyte Donation. Other conditions that she treats include High Risk Pregnancy, Ovarian Cysts, Uterine Fibroids and Cancer. She has a special interest for fertility preservation of cancer survivors, which led to her opening the first Oocyte Cryopreservation Program in the country. She has been recognized for this accomplishment with a Preserving Fertility in Cancer Patients Award.
Dr. Westphal attended medical school at Stanford University and did her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at UCLA and Stanford University. She then completed fellowships in molecular biology and Reproductive Endocrinology at Stanford University and UCSF respectively.
Dr. Westphal was Co-Director, and is Co-Founder, of the Center for Health Research on Women and Sex Differences in Medicine and was the Director of Women's Health at Stanford. She is currently a member at the Stanford Comprehensive Cancer Center.
