Dr. Christine S. Walsh is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and an Oncology specialist with more than 14 years of experience practicing in Los Angeles, California. She has special expertise in treating cancers such as Uterine Cancer, Gastrointestinal Cancer, Ovarian Cancer and Cervical Cancers. Some of procedures that she performs include laparoscopic surgeries, screenings and excisions. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Walsh researches ways to use genomic and molecular pathogenesis of ovarian cancer in order to identify biomarkers for disease prediction, prognosis, and targets for new treatment strategies. She also focuses on DNA repair pathways, immune checkpoint inhibitors and cell signalling proteins.
Dr. Walsh attended Columbia University for medical school, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and her fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Welsh is now a fellow at the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is associated with societies such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
