Dr. Gregory M. Mundis Jr. is a spine surgeon in California that treats adults and children with spinal deformities. His area of expertise is in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery and he treats conditions such as scoliosis, kyphosis and sagittal plane deformities. He has served as the Co-Director of the San Diego Spine Fellowship since 2010, and stays active in his training by consistently presenting and attending meetings in order to educate others about minimally invasive surgery and advanced surgical techniques.
Dr. Mundis believes that research is critical to patients care as studies lead to improvement in spine care delivery. He is also dedicated to serving his community both locally and internationally which is why he travels around the world annually to operate on children in need of medical care.
Dr. Mundis received his medical education at the University of Missouri and completed his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at the San Diego Spine Fellowship Program.
