Dr. Ram Dandillaya is a board certified cardiologist practicing at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute in Beverly Hills, California. He is a trained expert in cardiovascular diseases, cardiac computed tomography, internal medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. His primary focus is on preventative cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. Beyond treating his patients, Dr. Dandillaya is currently doing research on issues such as atheroscelorotic heart disease prevention, percutaneous aortic valve replacement and the role of computed tomography and coronary calcium in coronary artery disease.
Dr. Dandillaya received his medical degree from The George Washington University with Distinction. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars-Sinai and his Cardiology Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Dandillaya is a member of several societies including the American College of Cardiologists and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology amongst others and has received several awards such as the Patients' Choice Award and a Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award in 2012.
