Dr. Sanjeev Saxena is a board certified interventional cardiologist in Alabama with more than a decade of experience in his field. He is an expert in treating conditions such as Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), Hypertension and Unstable Angina. Kinds of procedures that he performs include coronary and complex peripheral interventions, echocardiography, and pacemaker and defibrillator implantations.
Dr Sanexa attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and completed his Residency at Pennsylvania's Hershey Medical Center. He then carried out his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and the Miami VA Medical Center, and even earned an MBA at Auburn University.
Additionally, Dr. Sanexa has received the Patients' Choice Award in 2012 and 2014, is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He currently works with Riverview Regional Medical Center in Alabama and Dekalb Regional Medical Center.
